Weirdness Meter

Climbing, climbing, climbing...

This is all work-related stuff, so feel free to skip it. I'm just having one of those 'Now, how exactly did I get here?' moments.


Item 1 - setting up a meeting and have come to realize that not only are we inviting the heads of several space agencies, but that my immedate boss has contact info for these folks in his blackberry.

Item 2 - Realizing that I've been going out for a chat and a lunch with a number of people very close to the NASA administrator.

Item 3 - As part of my side stuff, I'm fixing to go the annual army convention. Among other things, I just got off of the phone with a salesman from the national arms company of an undisclosed ally. We spoke for a while, and he'll show me the vehicle - I have his cell number to contact him there. Additionally, he gave me the info of the president of the company they're in a joint venture with.

A lot of non-pedestrian occurrences for half a week.
